OSCARS: Why George Clooney Doesn't Deserve to Win, and Why He Might Why George Clooney doesn't deserve to win the Best Actor Oscar: -He didn't give the best performance of the nominees -He's not Gary Oldman -He's not Jean Dujardin -Gazing into the Pacific Ocean for 2 hours is not acting -Hes's always partly George Clooney in every role he plays. He does not have the basic tranformative skill of a grear actor (i.e. Julia Roberts) -He doesn't have the Weinstein mega-PR machine behind him -Even Brad Pitt's performance in "Moneyball" put him to shame           Why He Might Win: -He's George Clooney -Hollywood is giving itself a stroke in their desperatiion for him to have a Lead Actor Oscar (i.e. The Renee Zelweger effect) -"The Descendants" is total Oscar bait -He's the hands down American favorite of the nominees -Jean Dujardin is not a known commodity in America.  And is French.  And Americans are ridiculous and stupid about French people right now.
